Welcome to my new home. While this site is mainly designed as a way to share my daily paintings with you, I’ll also be adding in thoughts, comments and ramblings as they seem appropriate.

I work in acrylic, pen & ink, mixed media and any other media that take my fancy while I’m creating. Art is my passion and I love working with it all! I’ll be adding my CV to the site as I expand the template and categories so you’ll be able to take a peek at what I’ve been up to over the years.

So, here is one of my most recent pieces. It’s and acrylic entitled “Promenade”. She is 4″ x 14.5″. Until I get everything organized and set up, you can just email me for pricing and shipping information.

Phew. After much todo I’ve managed to upload my CV in a readable manner. It seems that templates aren’t fond of having their html mucked about with. But then again, I’m much better with images than I am with code.  

That being the case, here is another of my pieces:

This acrylic painting is entitled “Contemplation” and measures 12″ x 12″.

This one is a miniature - only 2.5″ x 3.5″. It fits into the ACEO guidelines, an art form which makes original pieces accessible to most folks. I tend to go back and forth between larger and smaller pieces. Each has its own quirks and rewards. There’s nothing like painting a 20 foot long depiction of rural Georgia in one weekend for a theater production! On the other hand the sheer intimacy of miniature painting is also quite seductive.
